The table with the view please
Mummy Christmas took delivery of two Ooni pizza ovens last December: one for each of the two men in her life. My Hero got ours up and running last week but a basic error with the pizza dough resulted in limited success. With blue sky overhead and ready to try again, we fired it up at lunchtime with the intention of keeping it simple. Flatbread for lunch?
The old garden table proved the perfect place for it and the natural fire starters I found worked perfectly first time round. In no time at all we were measuring 375C and we were ready to go!
Wow! The thinnest of dough became a hot pocket of air in no time at all and we were making the flatbreads quicker than we could eat them. Amazing!
What better lunch could there be than hot flatbreads, fresh from the oven with hummus and charcuterie?
We even had the table with the view!
